Use, duration and controls
This notice explains how Shenzhen Wanzera Information Technology Co., Ltd. uses cookies and related browser technologies on your device when providing services through MSDS Master. It forms part of the Privacy Notice and shares its version and effective date.
A cookie is a small piece of information stored in your browser by a website. It can identify a signed-in session or store the interface language. Cookies, browser localStorage or sessionStorage, page memory and account records stored on the server are different forms of storage with different retention periods.
The cookies used in this version support account sessions, security and the interface language. They are not used for advertising, cross-site tracking or visitor-behaviour analytics. Their names, use, purposes and durations are listed below. The stated durations are the settings used by this website, not the retention periods for related business records on the server.
| Category | Details |
|---|---|
| msds_sid · Account session and security | Type: first-party HTTP cookie.Purpose: identifies an authenticated session and supports account operations that require sign-in.Content: a random session identifier, not a plaintext password or product formulation.Set when a sign-in session is successfully created or replaced.Duration: up to 7 days from each setting; sign-out, revocation or expiry ends its use as a valid session.Attributes: Path=/, HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax; Secure is enabled in production.Blocking it prevents authenticated account sessions from working. |
| msds_locale · Interface language | Type: first-party session cookie.Purpose: stores the Chinese or English interface explicitly chosen with the language switch; that action may update the signed-in account preference.Content: zh-CN or en, without a unique visitor identifier.Set when the user actively switches language, not automatically by regional defaults, browsing context or account reads.Duration: no Max-Age or Expires is set; session restore may retain it.Attributes: Path=/ and SameSite=Lax. Clearing it allows another choice or the account/default language to apply; it does not change SDS delivery language. |
| msds_privacy_notice_v1 · First-visit notice | Type: sessionStorage in the current browser tab, not a cookie.Purpose: remembers that the first-visit privacy notice was read, without advertising, analytics or sign-in identification.Content: acknowledged, with no formulation or unique visitor identifier.Set when I understand is selected.Duration: the current tab session; usually cleared when the tab closes, though browser session restore may retain it. Clearing it makes the notice appear again. |
| msds_consultation_sid · Verified enquiry access | Remembers verified access to enquiries. Contains a random session identifier, not an email, formulation or message. Set for up to seven days with HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax; Secure is used in the production HTTPS environment. Clearing it requires email verification again but does not delete the enquiry. |
| msds_browse_locale · Current browsing language | Type: first-party session cookie.Purpose: keeps the initial default and current public-page language for this browsing session when entering sign-in, registration and the workspace.Content: en or zh-CN, without a unique visitor identifier. Set during server-side browsing-session initialisation or when visiting a public page with a fixed language. It does not save account preferences, prevent a loaded account preference from taking over, or change SDS language, destination or regulatory version.Duration: no Max-Age or Expires is set; browser session restore may retain it.Attributes: Path=/ and SameSite=Lax. Clearing it allows the browsing default to be determined again. |
| msds_home_visited · First homepage routing marker | Type: first-party session cookie.Purpose: records that the root homepage has been visited in this browsing session to prevent repeated automatic routing.Content: fixed value 1, without a unique visitor identifier or country information. Set on the first GET or HEAD request to the root path; visiting another page first does not consume that entry.Duration: no Max-Age or Expires is set; browser session restore may retain it.Attributes: Path=/, HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax. Clearing it allows the next root homepage visit to use current preferences and default routing again. |
The language cookie is a session cookie with no fixed expiry date. It is normally cleared when the browser session ends, but a browser’s session-restore feature may retain it. Closing one tab does not mean that cookies have been deleted. You can inspect or clear them in your browser’s site-data settings.
While the website is running, page memory temporarily holds information needed for editing forms, page-security checks and sign-in verification. These runtime states are not additional persistent cookies. Clearing cookies, closing a page or signing out does not delete server-side accounts, saved drafts, requests or documents. Those records follow the retention rules in the Privacy Notice. Unsaved changes may be lost; check that your work has been saved first.
You can change the interface language using the website’s language control, and use your browser to inspect, block or delete this site’s cookies. Blocking the account-session cookie prevents functions that require a signed-in identity from working correctly. Clearing it normally requires you to sign in again. Clearing the language cookie may restore the default language or require a new selection. Language information in a signed-in account is stored separately and is not automatically deleted when cookies are cleared.
You do not have to accept unrelated analytics or advertising technologies to use core services. This version does not use those optional technologies. Where consent is required, continuing to browse, dismissing a notice or accepting service terms is not treated as consent.
If optional analytics, advertising or external embedded features are introduced later, we will update the information before enabling them and provide prior choices and an accessible way to change or withdraw those choices where required. This notice is not advance permission for future purposes.
